Information You Submit
Search forms transmit the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside search provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, page visits, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps us maintain the site and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
We use this limited information to run the site, diagnose errors, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create profiles about individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links lead to Kennewick, Benton County, and Washington records offices, library resources, and third-party search tools. Their privacy rules apply to information submitted on their services. Our policy does not govern them. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company operating under its own data practices.
Parties That Process Data
Vendors that host or support the site process logs for us. Analytics and advertising services may receive the automatic data already described. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
Safeguarding Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated above. Since there are no user accounts, this site holds no account password or personal profile for an attacker to obtain.
Visitors Under 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent personal information so we can remove it.
Your Privacy Rights
Rights to access, correct, or delete personal data vary by location and by the kind of information involved. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, creates rights for covered consumer health data outside HIPAA; it is not a universal deletion law for all personal information. Because we hold little data, a request generally means checking our contact mailbox and server logs for material we can remove. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records maintained by Kennewick, Benton County, or Washington agencies remain under each custodian's control, so correction or removal requests must go to that office.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after a revision is posted signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
